Thunder Mountain Speedway is a 4/10 mile oval dirt track located in Hanover, WV off of US Rt 52 at Lizard Creek Park. The facility, under new ownership, has been rebuilt during the winter months of 2011.  Improvements include re-location of the pit access road, excavation work to establish a road to connect turns one and two, excavation work to increase parking, all new seating, a restroom facility located at the main grandstand area, new pressbox, new concession facilities at the grandstand and pit area. The goal at THUNDER MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY is to provide racers and fans an exciting family oriented venue full of fun and excitement.  Thunder Mountain Speedway would like to THANK ALL the fans, participants,businesses, and local government for their support. We look forward to an action packed 2012 opening season!!!!!!!
